Last week, the CSV Group team participated in a panel discussion at Trinity Business School focused on how Ukrainian companies scale in Ireland and across Europe. We discussed a broader shift: Ukrainian businesses are increasingly seen not just as market entrants, but as partners actively integrating into the broader economy.

Working with companies across FMCG, SaaS, technology, and B2B services, we see that growth in Europe is shaped by several consistent dynamics:

Network-Driven Growth: Success is driven by partners, distributors, and professional networks rather than direct sales alone.

Strategic Embedding: Market entry is less about speed and more about embedding into the local ecosystem.

Building Trust: The real challenge is not regulation, but establishing long-term demand and trust.

We see a strong pipeline of businesses entering the market, building partnerships, and entering retail. In many cases, Ukrainian-founded companies are not just competing for existing demand—they are expanding it. We also note an increasing interest in public procurement as a structured entry point into European markets, particularly in tech and B2B.

It is clear that success in Europe is less about the product itself and more about how the go-to-market strategy is designed.
