On 5 May 2026, Yuliia Solovyeva delivered an online workshop for members of the IT Dnipro Community titled “How IT Companies Can Win Tenders in the EU and the UK.”

The session explored how IT and technology companies can use public procurement as a practical route to international growth and new business opportunities.

During the workshop, participants learned:

• where to find relevant tenders in the EU and UK markets

• how the tender process works from search to submission

• what qualification requirements buyers typically expect

• common mistakes companies make during the application stage

• how to enter procurement markets without local references

• which tender opportunities are best suited for IT, SaaS and cybersecurity companies

• how to evaluate the time, resources and potential return on investment of tender participation

The discussion also focused on the realities of public procurement in Europe and the UK, where buyers assess not only technical expertise and pricing, but also operational stability, compliance readiness and long-term delivery capability.

Participants additionally discussed the challenges international companies face when entering new procurement ecosystems and practical ways to build a sustainable tender pipeline over time.
